(DezJermaine Blog)–The anticipation is finally over! Last night the Miami Heat cruised past the Chicago Bulls at the American Airlines Arena, for their first win of the season 107-95. After the team received their championship rings, its was time for tip off. Bulls start strong the first couple minutes of the first quarter, but the Heat began to light their flame shortly after. It was more than just “The Big 3”, coming off the bench, (G) Ray Allen, (F) Shane Battier, and (PG) Norris Cole proved themselves once again with a total scoring of 36 pts.
Ending the first half down by 25, The Bulls turned it up a notch second half. With (PF) Carlos Boozer leading his team in scoring, 31 pts 7 reb & 2 ast, the Bulls were able to pull together 37 pts in the fourth quarter which brought them to a single digit loss. Although there was some foul trouble, the team still played hard. (G) Jimmie Butler was next in scoring with 20 pts 3 reb & 3 ast, (C) Joakim Noah with 11 reb. and the returning (PG) Derrick Rose having 12 pts 1 reb 4 ast. It was definitely a good game.
