Chicago Rapper King Louie has been reportedly shot in the head, on Chicago’s southwest side in the Ashburn community on 83rd street. Sources close to the Drillinois founder stated the rapper was grazed by a bullet. The shooting happened at 83rd and Pulaski around 3:30 P.M. King Louie is the rapper that coined the term, “Chiraq.”
This incident comes just 4 days before the rappers birthday on (Dec. 27) King Louie released a song on Dec. 4 titled “F— Spike Lee,” the same day the New York director’s film “Chi-Raq” premiered in theaters.
Police say the Mubu Gang founder was transported to Christ Advocate Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. Also it was reported that the rapper is recovering and was seen up talking in stable condition.
