Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Is Opening A Sneaker Store

Inside Look At The Trophy Room Courtesy Of GQ Magazine

Michael Jordan’s 25-year-old son, Marcus Jordan, a former college basketball player and sometime troublemaker, is set to open a sneaker store called Trophy Room in April of 2016.

The store is inspired by an actual trophy room in Jordan’s massive childhood home, a space where—according to a statement released this week—family, friends, and visitors would often congregate and hang out. Trophy Room will aim to replicate the vibe of that space by displaying memorabilia from MJ’s career along with home videos and photos.

The merchandise up for grabs will consist of sneakers and apparel from the Jordan Brand, Nike Inc, Upper Deck Authenticated, as well as well as an in-house label. The only catch? No one knows where the store will be located just yet. Chicago is our best guess but New York or Los Angeles wouldn’t be surprising choices either.

Here’s a teaser for Trophy Room, which came out on Christmas Eve.
